Help a newbie discover Bhangra

--==The Situation==--

This board is just what I was looking for when I started my quest to find some good Bhangra music earlier today. I am a college student and I am part of the SIS (Students of the Indian Sub-continent). I was sorta forced into DJing for the upcomming Diwali celebration. Â*

I listen to a few Indian DJ's but almost all of them are cross over. A brief list:

Talvin Singh (Sea breeze is a killer track)
Nitin Swaheny (sp?)
Cheb-i-Sabbah (Armanien DJ but close enough)
Kid Loco (French but samples a lot of Indian instuments)

--==The Solution==--

Since I can't get out of DJing I thought I might as well learn what is going on in the Bhangra scene (Since Bhangra is best suited to play for a large audience). I need some songs for my playlist. I am thinking I will have to play music for about 3 hours that night. I don't own any equipment and I am not planning on using a mixer either. I do want to look like I am doing _something_ up there with my V700 headphones. What do you guys/gals suggest? I am so lost and I don't know where to start. There haven't been many great songs released in the past couple of years because most of the DJs in Europe in are focusing on blending Garage & Bhangra and in North America they been focusing on Rap/Hip-Hop & Bhangra mixes.</font>

<font color='#000000'>Thanks for all the recommendations. I curse the day that Audiogalaxy was taken down because now I have to depend on asshat clients like Kazaa and Morpheous. I have tried SoulSeek but that's nothing very exciting.

Hence, I found about 2 songs on the list you posted. I will hunt around a bit more I guess. If that yields nothing I will have to bug you again. Â*

Oh BTW, I hate that Truth Hurts song. </font>
